4.0 out of 5 stars I'm generally happy with it, June 17, 2011

I got my Acer Iconia Tab Bluetooth keyboard from Amazon today. It paired first go and works well (runs off two AAA cells, supplied). Some things I have to press the screen for, particularly when I'm on one of the home screens, but once I'm in the apps, the keyboard comes into its own. But even on the home screens, there are easy launch keys on the keyboard for access to common apps.

There's a Back key of course, and a Home key. These are probably the most frequently used ones for me! Other dedicated keys are:
Search key,
Increase Volume, and Decrease Volume.
Internet launch
Email Launch
Camera Launch
Contacts Launch
Music Launch
Stop/Play/Previous/Next track keys
Unlock (to wake the tablet from sleep)
Menu key (to access in-app menus).
The rest of the keys are standard keys you'd find on any regular keyboard. There are 80 keys all up, including the Apps Launch keys and there's even a blank key. They say the... Read more

I was little scared when I ordered this but as small as it is works great and gives a whole new advantage to my Acer Iconia. Like I said even though small its comfortable.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice, but laggy, September 9, 2011
This review is from: Acer Iconia Tab Bluetooth Keyboard (Personal Computers)
Currently using it to write this review on my Galaxy tab, paired nicely with it if not at first a bit annoying since the soft rubber "Connect" button is rather recessed and somewhat hard to push in with fat fingers. The spacing is pretty good and only rarely do i ever run into an issue. The arrow keys however are just awful and cramped. For those wondering, the "special" buttons on this keyboard all seem to work and play nicely with the galaxy tab 10.1 even though this was meant for their own product. Only ones I can't figure out how to control is the battery indecator one and the wifi toggle one, I guess that's what the instruction booklet is for. I am curious to see if this will play nicely with my PC.

Other issues I also have is the lag issue, though there are too many variables to take into account such as: Is it just a common issue that most bluetooth keybaords have, since sometimes when you press a letter it doesn't appear and other times it puts in multiple... Read more
