I made a small modification easily, as I moved one of the 2 clips on the top to put it on the side. easy to be done without destroying the case, however it would have much better if it came like this. Though it is synthetic leather the textured finish has a really good "hand". They even took the time to give the tabs the same finish which lends to the quality and craftmanship (or at least forethought). In regard to the tabs, they are well placed allowing for unhindered use of all ports/toggles but the lack of one critical tab on the left side leaves one feeling insecure about the security of their tablet. The quick fix is to bend the tabs in ever so slightly but for added security I placed a couple self adhesive anti-skid pads (silicone or foam) normally used for keeping your furniture from sliding around your place, right under a couple of the tabs (see pic in "other views"). This kept the tablet from moving even when I attempted to shake it free! (suggestion to the manufacturer: place a "half tab" on the right side that the tablet would slide over and then sit in place without having to wrap over the face of... The clips can be adjusted by a little bending to hold the tablet securely. Others mentioned it can slide out of the end if not careful and this is true. The manufacturer would do well to add a smaller clip or a molded in bump to the open end that can be flexed to allow the tablet to be inserted then snapped into place. When closed the band can be wrapped around the case to hold everything securely in place. It looks leather-like and the color adds a classy appearance. Nice to see cases in something other than black and the price is amazing. Very satisfied with this product. |
